Compression Ratio and Nitrous
#11
well see what she takes. TONS of guys on tech are doing it and recomend it so i dont see the problem. im pushing 35-36* timing now so i dont see why it wouldnt make 28* n/a with the 11.0:1 compression.

I think he was talking about timing on the juice. You should be able to run low/mid 30*s advance N/A. My buddy has a h/c 5.3 at 11:1 and he has bumped the timing up to 36*s before with no problem. Generally you take 2*s of timing out per every 50hp of nitrous. I ran 34*s advance on my old 418 that had 11.2:1CR.

like i said...well see what it takes. this is my first experience with nitrous/heads and higher compression so i dont have any true guestimates. the turd has always taken more timing than expected from the time it was bone stock so i have no clue. the wideband will be hooked up for all tuning.
compression vs timing has been a debate for a while. im not even sure how long i will run nitrous since im more of a N/A kinda guy. ill probably get some glory numbers and ditch it quick cuz im a *****
