Exactly my thoughts along with the cost difference between an 00 fbody cam and a comp or whatever cam. Stock heads on a 5.3 peak around 530 lift or so. There is a gain to be had by going through peak flow twice and staying near the apex of the flow curve but again its not worth it for this app IMO.

here you go, 4.8/5.3 LS1 LS6 and the 6.0 heads flow charts.
from 550 to 600 lift shows best results on the flow of the heads.

no point in playing with dyno software if you have
no data to add in to give results.
