Your tuner can go beyond turning the idle down to make the cam seem bigger. In hptuners you can adjust the idle adaptive spark control... this will allow the spark advance more freedom to follow the cams natural lope... making it seem even larger.

I'd say stick with what you got.. Work on the tune till its how you like it.

x2. the cam is is ideal for daily driving and well matched to the 3200 stall. its them heavy 22 wheels that make it a lil sluggish.

was hopeing somebody was running one of EPS
truck torque cams?
Not trying to hijack

Just keeping the OP cam ideas open

The specs in that cam are basically identical to yours... in fact it may BE the same cam. 224/230 on a 114 with .58x lift on both sides.

Sounds pretty good with that cut out open doesnt it???

I'm planing a 230/232 113 for my heavy Tahoe. I have a 4k stall with 4.88 gears. With an awesome exhaust 4"
