And you drive what?

Need specs on everything here, like vehicle/transmission/gears etc etc. Just a FYI the cam does not make it loud unless you have aftermarket exhaust or something. Slapping a cam in an engine with stock exhaust would still make it sound stock but with a slight lope.

What kind of goals do you want?

Do you want to run a stall converter with this cam?

In a 4.8 that is rev happy you are likely best to stick with a something in the 212/218 range cam size on a stock stall.

You mean lope?

Lobe is what the lifter rides on, on the camshaft. Camshaft have cam lobes. Camshafts can make the car "lope".

The mellow lope can depend on the LSA (lobe separation angle). A LSA of 110 will lope more than a cam with a 116 LSA but the way it act at idle and low speeds could be worse on a cam with a lower LSA number and can be dependent on the cam size.

A 212/218 on like a 113-114 LSA is a very standard cam that several places sell. They work great and will have a mellow idle lope depending on how the tune is setup.

The little 4.8 won't be super fast because it's a small displacement engine with no boost, but expect a 30-50hp bump for sure.
