Default Thoughts on 294 being stroked to 383

Hey there

So I'm looking at getting a 383 stroker kit for my 294 gen III recently put a btr stg 3 can ls6 valve springs and long tube headers on it and made 340 at the crank but i'm looking for more power like 400-450hp without going to a turbo or nitrous. Or is there any other mods that would get me near?

so I'm curious about a stroker kit

Is piston rock going to be a issue?
and is there any other concerns about stroking a 4.8?

For the cost of a stroker you'd be better off just installing what you have in a 6.0 engine. Save some money and gains gobs or horsepower and torque over the 4.8.

Its going to cost me about the same to drop a 6.0 in as it would for the stroker kit and bore. And I know that this engine is in good shape with only 100,000 miles on it.
