WOO HOO!!!! (damn f-body tuners) LOL j/k'ing This should be good! We get to see power difference from spark changes only.

btw, this increase that he did get...that was from what spark to 12*? I thought he had another tuner's tune in their when he did the 6.0 swap, maybe 16* then. So 40hp from the old setup w/16* to the new setup w/12* should be noted, if it's true.

BLK02WS6 got any graphs of the pull to post up? can we see? huh huh?

HaHa - yeh, damn F-body tuners

Bryan has the graphs - I'm at my day job now and don't have them here (tuning is my 2nd gig).

Bryan has more PCMs than most people have underwear, so he confuses me on what's what from the past. If I remember right, the gains were from his old pulley, no cam, and my tune with I believe 16* of timing (again, didn't realize he had low compression then either). But there is the chance that the dyno graph we compared to was from his mail order PCM - in which case I am unsure what the timing was without pulling up the EFILive logs from his actual dyno pulls back then. His mail order PCM was locked and I couldn't even look at it.

Regardless, we will strap it back down and hit it with some more timing on a cooler engine and see what it likes.

FWIW I have pulled 22* WOT through the entire quarter mile a couple times with meth and no KR. I have also logged 2 dyno runs, one at 17* TT through the pull and the other at 22* through the pull. 1 HP difference in the 2 pulls.

Bryan,
Just got home - Full flashed a total ground up tune - pulls smooth up through the gears now. They will get the cat stuff done and see where it stands. That one really has me baffled! Had to be something in that PCM that was messed up - hard telling what they started with. I couldn't even identify the operating system that was in it. Well, I hope it all goes smooth. J will call me if there are any problems while I'm on the road. Talk to ya soon!
