Cam grind # help

Default Cam grind # help

I just ordered a Speed Inc SI2 cam from someone on Tech and it came in today, just want to make sure I got the right cam. The cam says
3722R/3722R HR114
2870A
V9988
Can anyone confirm the specs on this? It is a Comp cam btw.

isn't that the XE-R 224/224 .581/.581 on a 114?

Yeah, I was wondering about the HR114 part, it is supposed to be on a 112. Didn't know about the rest though. The SI2 says it is a 224/224 .581/.581 112. What would a 114 do to the powerband as compared to a 112?

Will the powerband change any if it is a 114? He said it was a 112lsa, can anyone confirm that it is a 114 or 112 LSA?

How will the powerband move? I ordered a 3400 fuddle stall but if I need a different stall rating I can probably still get ahold of him to change it.

The 114 lsa will move the power band up.

Ok, so a 3400 stall would still be good. I really wanted a 112 but I think I will go ahead and stick with this one since I got a good deal on it and it is in great shape. Would I have to rev much higher with this cam? If so I may still get rid of this one and go with a 112.
