Default 5.3l cam nelson tun

I am about to install a nelson tuned computer, fans and 160 degree thermostate, i called comp cams and they said to go with part no. 54-426-11 cam. grind number XR275HR. My questions are:

1.What size stall do i need?

2. Does anyone have a video/sound clip of this cam installed or one really close to it.

Truck below is what it is going in.

Thanks for the help!!

I'd say a 3000 would get you out of the hole pretty good. Its going to be a nice cam in that 5.3 though. why the split duration???

I have tuned for this cam before. Excellent choice. I'd say a 3000-3200 should work nice with this cam.

what else should i go with for the engine. ie. rockers, rollers, valve springs ect.....

About to pull the engine to get it balanced and all new bearings and seals put in, dont have the money for a 408 yet...
also
i have seen some 6.0 head on ebay, would that be a good upgrade, since sts is on the way soon?
Where is a good place to purchase a cam (best price)

one more thing, what brand converter should i get and where from?

You will need valve springs, and push rods also from comp cams, Allen suggested a cam from comp for me with sts turbo that is 220/218 563-564 and I am using a PI 2800 stall convetor. The best and cheapest place to buy comp products is non-sponsor link Allen figures around a 60hp increase with this cam and his tune! I also purchased keepers and locks from comp.

Would this cam be ok for the future sts setup, also when you tuned it what was the idel set at.

Also, does anyone know where i can get a sound clip of this cam idling and maybe a rev.?

OK, I have been looking around for some torque converters to go with this cam. I have found two. the first is the YANK TRUCK THRUSTER 3000 4L60E/4L65E and the second is the YANK SST 3200 4L60E/4L65E LS1 .
My question is what would be the difference in the two converters except one is twice the price. is the second one worth the extra money? The first one sounds fine with me, i could just use the extra money somewhere else.
Yank website...

I have also found a set of new 6.0l heads casting no. 317 from an lq9 engine, Would these heads work on my engine and what gains would i get?
