richard@WCCH owns and operates a CNC head porting business and is now known for his engine building. he can get any grind of a comp cam you want, and will tell you what will work best for your specific application. he also sponsors this site and helps keep it running.

IMO i dont think you will not like the TSP 228R, no matter what size stall you get, especially in a crew cab. the 228R is NOT a bottom end cam but with a large enough stall you wont notice it

The 228 is alot of cam for a 5.3l. It would require atleast a 3600 stall to get optimal performance.

I would think something around the 212/218 high lift cam with a 3200 stall will get you close to what you want. Will provide great hp and torque from 2800rpms to 6200 rpms.
