Depends on what your definition of "budget" is. N/A, budget, and 400rwhp don't belong in the same sentence, unless you're getting good stuff for free.

I say forget NA and go this route.. for the money it will get you a lot closer to your HP goal.

Nope. Maybe injectors. Then get a tune and you are good to go.

To be honest though being an 04 I believe you have a 4L60E which would be what I would address before doing anything else power wise.

^^^ yep. 60e + hp = boom.

As for N/A an 350-400rwhp....you'll be lucky to break 335rwhp out of a 5.3 with the 78mm intake/poor heads.

I think a procharger or supercharger with a good set of injectors/dyno tune best bang for the buck. Follow AKlowrider's sig an you wont be unhappy im sure, imho

I've already been looking @ aftermarket tannys or upgrading my old one with Monster Transmission's help so that area is gonna be adressed at the same time. Is my daily driver but will be down for some time and im gonna try to take care of as much as I can in one shot. What kinda gas milage can I expect from induction like that?

I still think Im gonna try to keep it all engine for dependability. Even if the budget is gonna slow me down and Ill try to start with heads and a cam.
