Im still gonna try to go all motorwith a build on my 04 Z71, but everyone is saying go induction. I dont want to so will someone please give me and idea on heads for my 5.3 that isnt to extreme but I can use as a basis to build somewhere between 350-400 RWHP?

 

what heads do you have on the 5.3 now?

 

They r stock heads on it.

 

Just toss on some 243s. Mill them for cheap or if youd like to drop some coin into them, have them ported.

NNBS intake, milled 243s, cam and fbo should put you perfectly in that range.

with 243/799 milled down ported and polished nnbs intake swap with a good cam your numbers should be around the range you want

Yes and that was gonna be next question if i went with those heads what kind of cam should I look at and what kind of stall should I match it with?
