i thought it was high for the crank but it was like 120 or so for the bore i can't remimber exact numbers for the crank it was like 130-160 or something like that. see i ask someone else for a bore and they told me 300 so when he said 100 and something i was in awe so i didn't here the rest i was doing math in my head like ok 120 minus 300 hey i can get a trail blazer tc. so i kinda blanked on the crank turn part. i'm in maine so its hard to find peolpe to do this it seems like.

Your location may be the reason. An overall higher income area probalby and people don't rebuild cars they just buy new ones. Lack of competition with machine shops. One thing i've noticed that up in snow land cars often get junked before they need rebuilding due to the salt. I work with people from the north and they can't believe the condition of old cars running around on the road down here.
One friend from Ohio is still driving his 1982 Mustang Gt that he bought brand new and has 350K miles on the original engine. He drives like a gradpa of course. the car looks like it is about 3 years old, excellent condition.
