Default 600hp lq9

Hello, thinking of putting a lq9 out of an 05 2500 in my 07 1500. I'm looking for 600hp with a super charger on it, so about 500ish NA. What kind of price am I looking at to build the motor less super charger. Would 140k miles be to many to consider for a build candidate?

Lq9 never came in a 2500

To make 500 NA best have deep pockets for bad *** heads, also to make 500 NA it won't like boost

You won't see 500 crank hp on a NA motor, not without spending an absurb amount of money. Think more like 350-400 motor with some mods and have the supercharger bump you to that 600hp goal.

140k miles isnt even alot, and without knowing what kind of truck you'll want to drive around it hard to just say buy this or buy that before the supercharger.

Do you want a lopey/choppy cam that won't idle for **** or do you want a nice mellow cam that will give you more mid-range and top end??

Figure with needing, headers, supercharger, maybe a camshaft, fuel pump, injectors, a tune, a built trans or a 4L80e swap because the 60e will just explode, new rear end because the stock G80 will just explode and lots of other minor bits and pieces you'll want to save up around 5-7k depending on what supercharger you buy and where.

Looking for a good mid range and top end, with a little loping to it. I'm planning on 1 7/8 headers with 3" pipe. It will have a tune. I was planning on replacing the rear. Haven't decided what super charger, but looking like it would be about 7k for one. What 6.0 would be the 05 if not a lq9?

It's a 900. Is the LQ4 as strong as the LQ9?
