Default 6.0L truck build for C2

So garage fire killed the truck, i robbed the motor and trans, etc...

I currently have a NOT pump gas small block in a 67 corvette and would like to do a build up on a budget on the 6.0L out of the truck to replace the other motor.

So far what im thinking ( feel free to chime in ) MSD 6LS ( black, for 24 tooth), some brand of intake, my current 950 carb, and i have coil packs left over from other projects.

From there, It needs a nasty sounding cam that can back up its sound, maybe a set of heads? It has 317's on it now which in a 2500 truck should be the 9:6 compression with stock pistons.

the current old old school motor is in the 500 hp range, so i would like to be close to that with this set up, just skip the race gas and having to adjust valves and crap. this motor is pretty much straight up race motor with old GM race parts, however the motor has been done for years and years so the "good race parts" suck by today standards.

Radical, hard to drive, is fine IF it makes the power, RPMS are a plus,
its a M22 car with 4:56 gears on stock 7.70 tires lol.
I put about 200-300 miles on it a year, Ive had it 25 years and put about 5,000 miles on it so its not a daily driver.
