Default 6.0 build thoughts

Well sometime the first half of next year the 5.3 is coming out and getting replaced. Here is what I have on my mind. Yall let me know what yall think.
All porting will be done by a friend at a very good school. Looking for 450-500hp Will I make it?


6.0 long block
225/229 .580/.590 112
edlebrock intake matched to heads
hand ported 243 heads milled
10.5-11:1 comp
headers
bolt ons

of course tuned

sound like a good set up to me , i hope you due a stall, iam on a simillar set up and let me tell you , you will love it!
lq* , 222/228 567list stage2 heads from mti 59cc cr10.96:1
stall and all the bolt on goodies except for an ud pulley.
and loving it

thats what I was hoping for. Hey slow how is the torque with your setup? and how much stall you running? I have a 3200.

All looks good other then the patriot cam, havent seen it perform good its a cheap lazy lobe cam (if its the pp cam). Id go with a comp torquer v2 cam, vary good all around power.

Id run the torquer V2 also, if I wanted an off the shelf grind. If not, I'd run a comp cam custom grind.

I also think you should skip the edelbrock intake and go with a TBSS instead.

Witch intake is it? My pro flow xt does good but does shift the torque cure higher in the power band, the 60 foot strugles but its damm good on the street..

it will be the pro flow for looks and porting options. little large of a cam for my likens. cam will be mid to upper 22x. I need as much bottom end as i can retain with my heavy truck and no stall higher then 3600 max need to stay closer to 3200. I may end up getting one spec out but that will have to wait till closer to time of the build. Hey jake how does the pro flow perform on the street and how high does it really pull and help out over stock?
