For street racing i love it, but gains over stock i cant really say cause i never ran the stock intake on this setup, I was out doing some racing tonight and i spun her to 7200 rpm when i raced a guy and it just keeps pulling, even if i short shift at 6500 it dont bog one bit into third.. this has alot to do with my big stall but over all i really like it. I dont think it lost any torque maybe even gained a bit it just shifted it higher into the power band. With the right cam it would pull past 7500 rpm.

good sounds like it will be a good intake for my setup. will pull up top where I want and still have a little left in it. Looking for a cam in the 22x duration with around .600 lift cause I know I will have the flow for it but still shouldnt be that large in the 6.0.

Yeah i think your on the right track, only down side to the intake is the heat soak but i dont know how much that really hurts, you might throw in a 160 stat that will help for that. My cam is xer 232-236 595-601 and i like it alot, if i could change it id go more like 228-232 630ish lift, would make close to the same power but help the mid range and low end out a bit.

not to concerned about heat soak yea it is a dd truck but people have been using aluminum for years. 228 232 is more of my likens. you ever heard anyone running running any sdpc cams they have a 224 232 that dont look to bad but nit sure in lobes or anything else about them

Havent heard much on those cams, but the size dont look bad. If you go to small it wont pull up top were the intake shines and if you go to big you got no low end.. I go nuts trying to deside what i want out a cam

yea I hear you on the cam thing. Zero the point about low end was I want to retain low end, but with a 32-3600 stall the cam and intake will both have good power by that rpm. So really I should say mid range power.

I think a lot of the sdpc cams are comp part numbers if you look closer. I've looked into a couple they have too.

SDPC's cams used to be ground by Crane, but now I'm not so sure...some of their grind look like Comp lobes now...
