I have no plans of running e85. It’s available here but only at certain gas stations. Not plentiful enough for me to want to run it. Thanks though.

you can always turn an injector down, if he has a good deal on them I would snag them.

We like where the discussion has gone about camshafts and what to expect from them by certain specs. Instead of looking on the surface at say duration, LSA, or advance we like diving into the valve events. They are what really tells the tale of what one can expect of a camshaft. For this very reason, we wrote a couple of articles on this topic. The first one gives a backstory on how the industry has looked at cams for decades. Then we get into the valve events in part two.

Part One
Comparing Camshafts: A History of Camshaft Specs and choosing the Right Cam

Part Two
Comparing Camshafts (Part 2): Consider Individual Timing Events When Choosing a Cam

We're still really liking the SUM-8720R1 for the OP's combo and goals. @68Formula has a good point about the SUM-8715R1. That cam has been used in a wide variety of combos. As 68Formula pointed out it moves the powerband a bit to the right from the 8720R1.

Great thread you have going here OP!

No problem. We think they are good reads for anyone looking to do a cam swap.
