6.0 build

i have a 04 with a 5.3 going to swap to a 6.0 lq4 what do i need to do to get 450hp
it has the 317 heads on it. any help new to this lol

with a n/a set up...243 heads port/polish and milled. 8.1 injectors, fast intake w/ big TB and a good tune and i bet you'd be there.

turbo would be the cheaper route tho..3500 for a complete turbo kit w/ injectors and you could probably do over 500hp.

My setup plus a 50 shot

and good cam that will match your topend and a good exhaust system will get you there

Id just boost the 5.3 and run it till it blows up. In the meantime do lots of reading and research and figure out what you want to achieve with the 6.0 (since 450 will get old and youll keep wanting to upgrade).

This setup will net 450 to the wheels or will it be the crank? This is my setup but w/o the pnp 243's, 370 cid, Lt's true duals. I will be getting them port and polished soon. Thanks for the help.
