just remember, power is made in the heads and cam...If you plan power adder just becareful in how cheap you make youre internals

I have a 01 Silverado parts truck with a 6.0 and 4l80e that runs and drives like a top but no title. I wanted to hold on to it for the next project though

I personally think you would be much better off building a 370 with a 6.0L block bored .030" over and a stock 3.622" crank. With the money saved from the 4" aftermarket crank you could have a set of LS3 heads and intake. You will never miss those 13 cubes in the 383.

Agreed.... Problem is the gen 3 vs gen iv... May be better off getting ahold of a gen iv 6.0 or 6.2

Agreed.
And if he gets a 6.2 he will not need the machine work on the bores, will not need pistons or rods, will already have the heads and intake, and will end up with 376 inches.

Kinda thinking when the yukon's 5.3 starts acting up im gonna go either ls2 or l92 and eliminate the 5.3 dod crap all together
