Default LQ4 Head Choices

From what I have read and from my math I see that a stock lq4 has a CR of right around 9.4:1, I was wondering what you guys would do if you had these options. The lq4 has stock 317s on it, don't know if I should leave those heads on it untouched or have them milled .030, bringing the head cc down to around 65cc and bring the CR up to around 9.9:1 or I have some 243 heads that have been milled .030 with about a 58.45 cc chamber. Which would make the CR of the lq4 around a 10.5-10.8:1. Cam will not be too terribly big, under a 23X/23X. I know the higher the CR usually can make more power NA but keep in mind this motor WILLbe getting boosted, so some say the ideal CR is to be lower but I've also heard that's a thing of the past. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks- Kyle

Mill the 317 or just get stock 243/799s same result either way. I wouldn't mill the 243s. Compression is awesome, but that is a ton plus ptv risk.

Yep i say like above , a great inexpensive bolt on head would be some 799s . Would raise the compression up a bit and helpful both N/A and Boosted .
