4l60 to a lq4

Default 4l60 to a lq4

i have a lq4 with the long crank what would i need to install my 4l60 on to the motor?

If you get a custom converter I think it could work. I have no experience with it though.

sure but with the cost of the custom converter you could get an 4L80E or get another crank and swap it out.

so i would need a 4l80 to make it work would i have to make any modification to install a 4l80

The early 99-00 Long snout crank only came with the 4l80E No mods Just use the correct flywheel and matching converter.

I have the same block all you need to do is get a flex plate for a 2000 2500HD ($80 from O'riely's) and call Yank and tell Dave exactly what you've got and he will build you what you need for the same price as his off the shelf units. Thats what I did and it works fine.
