well I’d have to buy a diffrent throttle body but everything els plugs in then?

Yes. I put a Nick Williams 92mm TB on my truck. I reused the TPS & IAC from my stock throttle body.

Update: Did the 02 lq4 series have engine slap? I really dont want that and would rebuild the bottom end worst case if it did I put my finger around the bore and nothing I can feel You can see some light scratching going up and down. Did not burn oil when pulled.Going to buy camshaft this next week will post pictures is requested.

I think they do since they have the pressed style piston pins and not the float style ones

the owners never said it had a knock when I asked (my uncle) so I believe him on that just some light scaring up and down. Should I just send it bearings are mint.

What do the cylinder walls look like? Possibly what you are seeing are the cross hatch marks on the bores.

If the bearings are good and it didn't burn oil, I wouldn't be afraid of running it.

This is cylinder number 2 white stuff will clean out I think. No visible crosshatch should I pull the pistons do a drill hone and put the pistons back in? Id say this is the worst piston all look better than thisone.

Some light scuffs there, if it didn't burn oil... run it. Can you catch your nail on those marks?
