didn’t catch my finger when I went around that clynder the thing is I don’t want to have to pull the engine again in 2 years after I just had it out.

if I honed it would I need new rings?

or would it just be better to go for .30 over pistons and have a shop bore it to that.

Run a 240 grit ball hone and use new rings. It will be fine..

could I install a new cam before doing the hone or do it after?

Alright so hone pison rings and should I put forged rods in as I am adding 10psi of boost.

Happy fathers day guys, I am thinking about getting some drop in rods for the Lq4 I heard scat made some but I couldn’t find any that “fit” the 6.0 found one that fit the 5.7.

My HD back in the day with a LQ4, stock internals, long tube headers, a Magnuson MP112 supercharger, 6.5-7lbs of boost made 440rwhp through a 4L80e and 14boltFF w/Detroit Locker rear end. That kit used is probably right in your price range!

Edit: I see you have the motor torn down. Concur with 1FastBrick
