What does it take to get a 427 then??

I think there is a guy on here with and LS2 bored and re-sleeved to a 427.

Is that about the only way without buying an LS7 block?

I know my front diff is the week link, I was saying WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!! to the Transfer case, they are rated at 2300 ft pound of Torque.

Sweet. The Tcase is pretty damn strong. Allright, so the front is the soft spot. No problem, I am not looking to get crazy power to the ground...until I get more money.

I don't think the front is the "weak spot". .....

well, I am planning on getting either a stage 4 or 5 4L65 or an 80. probably the 65, I like the gearing better than an 80e. spealing of trannies, if they can make a factory Tcase good to 2500 tq, why are the trannies only good for a little above stock?

If you're going for 15 PSI of boost, I would'nt bother with trying to up the displacement. You might want to go to 4.010" via a bore and hone and go with forged rods and pistons (maybe a crank).

Are you talking from a money standpoint, saying that a 370ci wont make a difference over a 365? Because if thats the case, and it won't make a difference, then I'll consider that. I like saving money.

or did I totally miss the point?

finally someone with some sense. 15psi on a forged 6L with a good head/cam combo should net all the power you can use on the street.
