427 from a 6.0L iron block
first, isthe thread title even possible?
Is 9.0:1 cr achievable with a set of stage 3 6.0L (casting 317, i think) heads?
can i force about 15lbs of boost (blower, not a turbo) in in that motor and not destroy it?
I put this in forced induction because that is my main concern.
Thanks guys.

nope no 427 , i think the biggest ive seen was a 420 and that was pretty big, most go
.03 over and stroke it using a 4.00 crank which makes a 408.
if your using forged pistons/rods and good head studs with 9.0-1 cr 15 psi should be very reliable

What displacement does a 4.030 with a stock crank yield, 382? I guess that might be a better plan, seeing as how 15 psi will get about 500awhp (I am running an awd sss).
Here is another question...I know that the tranny needs work, rear will need attention, but what kind of power levels can the front diff take? I know they only see about 37% of overall engine power, which makes me think that the front diff should be ok, considering 500 AWHP = 320 at the rear and 180 at the front. Opinions?

Well, what can you expect, with the kind of power your putting through them. I have heard of a company on Long Island NY that builds GM front diffs for race apps.
That being said, I think, from what I hear, that 500 to the wheels shouldn't kill it. What about the Tcase? How do those stand elevated power levels?
