Why is that better than pullin vacuum from the intake manifold? Because it never sees positive pressure?

I wonder if a bevel cut on a nipple would pull a little more vacuum before the turbo? Kinda like an evac kit that you would put in a header collector.

How much power do you think the S85 would be capable of? I was thinking about going with an S88 myself, but that may be overkill for a 408.

S88 has a backorder log a mile long

Thunder, its my understanding there is ALOT more vacuum there then in the manifold.

How I was going to do it next was use my check valve on my pcv line for pulling vacume at low boost and not allowing it to pressurize when intake is under boost. This is the what I had already.
But the next thing I was going to do is run the catch can vacume off of the turbo intake (between turbo and air filter like Cody said). Maybe even T off the exhaust so it can pull from the exhaust that is already there and the turbo intake? I'll throw my PCV line check valve in the box when I ship it out tomorrow. I won't need it anymore.
As I said before there is too much back pressure in the exhaust for the offdraft system to work there. May work good with the cut-out open? If you don't use the exhaust just take the check valve off and put a pipe cap on it. It's either 3/8 or 1/2 pipe thread, can't remember.

I think Parish did it that way didn't he? I think he got the idea from the Supra guys. I think the high flow volume combined with the vinchery (sp) affect is enough to over come the back pressure issue and create a negative pressure for the PCV system.

It didn't work on mine. I put a vac/pres. gauge in line and ran it up to the windshield. It would pull 1" vacume while cruising and 4.5psi @ 6psi boost

For me and my piece of **** the answer to that question is NO. Besides, I can't imagine having much more fun with it than I do now....with zero down time. (I'm knocking on wood)
