One of my friends has a CNC shop and can hook me up with a sheetmetal one that will fit truck engines without any issues. What do you guys think?
That depends on how high you want to rev it and where in the rpm band you want to make the power.

well basically the easiest thing to do would be use your truck intake. It will make good power down low but you won't be able to rev it very high. I think about 6k is the limit on a truck intake, give or take a few hundred rpms. If you go FI with it the intake won't be as big of a restriction as it would be on an N/A motor.

If you want a few more rpms out of it you could go with an LS6 intake, but you'd have to do the conversion to a car intake which is a bit of a PITA. Im using an LS6 intake right now and im happy with it for the most part, but it is holding back a bit of power compared to a 90/90 setup.

A 90/90 would be just about the best option for N/A, but alot of people don't like to use them for boosted apps.

Then you've got the Victor Jr. intake, which also requires a bit of work to make it fit and the money can add up quick for all the parts you need.

for a NA 408 svo 42s are what you want. they spec out to be 48# injectors with our fuel psi. they are ideal and can be had for good prices of 250 used

and thats 76% duty cycle at 7k
