Does nothing. Why do as everyone does and not be a little different?? I think it looks good my self but I probably would not do it on a daily driver.

I have a set of stock LS1 pistons and rods Id let go for 100 and shipping PM me if you want them. Ill even throw in the stock rings

you might want to reconsider being backwards, there's no real benifet to doing that

i guess it would depend on some kind of ram air system.
like a working scoop to channel air directly in to the tb.

There is no benefit unless you are doing like my old man (he is pulling air from the cowl). I am going to run mine backwards and have 2 tubes that come back around to the front of the motor with a cone filter on each end. I guess far as looks opinions are like ********, everyone has one. I like the way it looks myself.

That's one way to get around the water pump to TB clearance issue when going to a car intake I guess. Next question is, how much clearance do you have at the back of the engine bay in your truck? I looked at mine and I don't see enough room to clear what you're talking about...

I think he said it's going into a '72 Blazer so he probably has LOTS of clearance.
