4.8 pistons on 5.3 rods

it has been stated that they are not in different locations. i am searching right now to see if the pistons are indeed the same part number between the l33 and 4.8. i did find this but, it ends in a pissing match and nothing gets resolved. it starts on post 10.

you can use the 4.8 pistons on the 5.3 rods and thats the only way thats going to work...
i did one about a month ago the truck made awesome compression and with the cam that he used it ran really good for a 5.3...

so you can cam stroke your 4.8 to a 5.3 with just the crank and rods. Also using 4.8L pistons will have more compression than the 5.3 pistons? If this is correct, what will the compression ratio be, assuming reusing the stock heads and gaskets?
