4.8 pistons on 5.3 rods

i know people have done the math but, has anyone actually tried to put a 4.8 piston on a 5.3 rod? im about to have a 4.8 laying around and i have a 5.3 rotating assembly and was curious if anyone has tried it? if not i guess ill find out later than sooner....

im gonna do it.
to some it may sound stupid and when you have all the parts laying around the garage after 2 engine builds i figured why not try it. i guess ill build a flat top 5.3 after i build this iron 5.7. whatever keeps me busy and keeps me from pissing off the prego wife is good.

it has been stated that they are not in different locations. i am searching right now to see if the pistons are indeed the same part number between the l33 and 4.8. i did find this but, it ends in a pissing match and nothing gets resolved. it starts on post 10.
