OK well i'm pretty much ready to swap my stroker engine into my truck, i 'm wondering what everyone thinks about running this cam in it for a little while. its the MTI b1(maybe) anyways the specs are 221/221 .558/.558 114+4. its the one in my truck right now actually. i will be using 241 heads, milled .015 that are ported to stage 1.5 using stock valves and 918 springs.
any suggestions or opinions?
other info...
eagle 4inch crank
eagle 6.125 h beams
ross flat tops with -2cc reliefs

i think that's a good cam to start with. should give you lots of bottom end, mid, and top. let us know what kind of power that thing puts down and 1/4mi times. nice setup!

thats what im thinking, since i'm doing it myself, i can easily swap later down the road. i was just trying to get an idea of what the driveablitly would be like, since i've never driven something with a big cam.

Driving a truck with a cam thats too big sucks! (I've done it) If you want more later on you can always switch em out, but with the weight of a truck you can really feel the low end loss that bigger cams come with!
