Like I said, whatever dude. If you could only see how pathetic you are you might be able to laugh at yourself, like I do.

well azfastestss has the fastest time for an ex cab and he is running a blower, bu tyou might say oh well he had nitrous too. but he ran a 11.4 also with just blower, mind you its a stcok lq9 with the s trim and a few less mods than i have. i think it sounds weird too but maybe he has something i dont know about or mayb his track had a - da. but there are advantages and disadvantages to trubos and blowers on our truck , its pretty much a never ending debate. i just prefer supercharger.

I don't think he was talking about which power adder is better just that with a KB or whipple or any style blower like them for that matter you can have a lot of boost at low rpms to make up for any loss of low end torque from low compression. I think he mentioned KB and whipple since they offer bigger blowers capable of supporting more hp than the current maggy offering.

TBSS, correct me if I'm wrong please.

XLR8NSS, I think you're right. I think TBSS was playing off my comment in post 93 about not wanting a KB or Whipple.

Both would feed the 370 with 15psi all day I'm pretty sure but, I just dont care for their overall support. I want to see how 2004SS turns out with his plan. Then I will decdide if I want a MP122HH, or ???

No dout the the Vortech is proven, via 2004SSS's times, I understand TBSS's point ut I wont continue any further, that would steer this thread further off course. Different strokes for different folks.

TBSS if you have any interest in continue the discussion further start a new topic or send me a PM, I might be able to show you the "light".

That guy has a VERY stout truck for sure, I just like Vortech ad where it says he ran an 11.40 and put out 700hp but they fail to say that he was running a 150 shot.

I think you will be very happy with your new setup. I can only imagine what times you are going to turn out with more boost(more efficient at that), bigger motor, better cam etc, your truck should scoot and look good doing it.

No, that's right. With a twin screw you have boost off idle (i.e. @ 1200-1500 RPM) and then your 9:1 compression is not that big of a big deal - unlike with a turbo.

You won't be showing me any 'light' or anything else for that matter. I like turbos but I like superchargers, too. Each has their strong points, believe it or not, and their weak points. It would be useful to the board if you acknowledged them.

In general, turbos suck under 3000 RPM which is why you need a high-stall converter. I prefer boost from 1500-4000 RPM since that is where I spend most of my time. If I never run another 1320 in my life I'm sure I'll be okay.

Like you said, different strokes.
