The setup I'm going with will be very similar to Turbo Gibbs. Minus the copper head gaskets.

Yes. At least to start. I dont even know how much boost I'm gonna be able to throw at it. The MP112 might make 8 blistering hot psi on it. The MP122HH might do a little more or it will do 8psi without heating the air up like a sauna. Unless I go turbo or centrifugal S/C I dont think I will get 15psi into it. (Don't want a KB or Whipple)

Wow...thanks for resurecting this thread!! This one's helped me alot since I'm building an engine real similar to 2004SSS. 2004SSS you and I are gonna have to meet up when both our engines are done. I'm going to be around the same 800-900HP band but with a spooler not a blower.

That's why you get a KB or a Whipple and then you have boost all over.

Chase,
when you get a chance post up what you are doing with your fuel system.
Thanks

well right now its consiting of dual intank walbro's new -8 line from the cup to the fpr, and a -6 return from the fpr , one pump will be on a 4 psi hobbs. im going to set the fuel press at 60 psi , im using the vic jr intake and edelbrock rails . ill get a wrtie up on it for sure , its the first on of its kind and the makers want me to promote it so he can do more of them. i dont know how well it will work since they arent a sponser from here but are a sponser on ls1tech , maybe a moderator could help clarify if its ok to post links. if not there is always pm's.

You will have the same power putting around, a blower isnt in boost all the time. As soon as you step on the loud peddle the turbo setup will leave all the others behind, theres a reason the fastest guys are running turbos.
