tha harness you are speaking of from Current performance, is it a plug and play harness or do you have to hook anything up??? What price range is this harness?

Everyone I have talked to says it is literally plug and play, every wire is labeled and completely made to your specs. Price range I have no idea but 600-1200 depending on what you want.

10.5 scr would be better, more compression=more power. Remember that it's the Dynamic compression ratio that counts more than the Static compression ratio. The Dynamic compression ratio uses the position of the piston at intake valve closing rather than BDC of the crank stroke to determine the sweep volume of the cylinder. So as intake duration increases, DCR decreases. I'd think that the 224 duration cam that you've chosen would like a little more compression.

Not sure how much the heads can be safely milled though, but I'm sure someone will chime in with some info on that one...

I need to mill these 862's .045 to get to 10.5:1 compression. Im thinking about dropping them off tomorrow to get worked on. What kind and what size head gasket should I run?

If it were me, I'd go with a little bigger cam and a stall.

I like it a lot. I'll want to see it run at the track.

slap some 4.8 pistons on it while your at it. itll get you closer to the compression ratio you want. use some thinner head gaskets instead of milling those heads so much.

You can't put 4.8 pistons on 5.3 rods
