243 head gains?

Tons of people have them on their engines(Camaros/Corvettes/Engine Swaps). Ive had three different ones, all worth every penny. Plus they hold their value well. I would run the truck one if it would fit, but my heater core hoses get in the way, so I have the car version.
yes thats a big deal why because i only have $1000 in cam springs headers stall tune air intake and rearend
Also spending $1000 on an intake is dumb for my combination and for cam that doesnt pull past 6300,the truck intake is fine for my application

yes i know my cam is a limiting factor with low lift
.3 is alot but basically i wanted lil more i think i will get that from the swap and up compression!
If i gain any mph or et or feel a stronger sweet spot i will be happy!
And yes i know i can get more by changing the cam and porting the heads but i am not changing my setup

my thing is it been asked and nobody can give solid info on it,SO i will try it see what works

i may really have to get wider tires/put the gears in to catch that lil monster of a truck!

oh and worse thing....swap to 3:73s to help...but as of now those 3:42s are doing just fine

you gonna come out to the dyno tune at TPS wed night and watch Truckshop spank the hell outta me?

I can buy a little bigger set of jets for $10 and pick up an easy 3 tenths...

Im also interested in this, i just recently picked up some 799 heads and was wondering how they will work just milled on my truck. I also got the 212/218 cam but the high lift version.

reg cab., 05 5.3, 212/218 cam, tb stall, 4.10's, air intake, pacetter headers w/ y pipe, full 3" exhaust with borla muffler, and tune. Ran that 11.8 almost 2 yrs ago with a 150 shot. Now i added tbss intake and ud pulley, have yet to test it with these new mods.
