I got a set with 18k miles with 2 bent exh valves for $180 bucks, GM warranty is good to us techs!

ill tell u one thing... ur messing up.. my truck came with 243s stock.. im 5200 pound beast doing what u do at the track..8.9 well that was what i did on the 212/218... im about 500 lbs heavier and doing the same time. not to mention i run 31" tires at the track... heads will make a big difference ur stock heads arent the greatest.. only reason i went with a bigger cam was because i had the heads to flow with them.. more cam more lift...

I am sure your 60ft has alot to do with you running the same as me

Hey not trying to get into an argument.. I'm just saying u will benefit from 243s.. I know I'm on 4.10 gears.. and ur on 3.42s.. I can c u doing much better on those heads that all I'm trying to say.. and I know were cutting same 60ft but I'm also 3" bigger than u on the tire..

i would of left the tbss intake on and just waited to do the heads, i'm sure it will help you out once you do th emilling and istall them heads. my truck loved the 799's and the tbss intake then ofcourse i had to really mes with the tune after the installs but it sure did run good
