So i am wanting to try some 243 heads cut 40 thou to bump compression and get alil better flow.
i will gain compression and airflow over my stock 862 heads
Intake will gain about 40cfm and exhaust about 15cfm over my stock 862 heads
Is it possible to pickup 3 tenths with this swap?
Anybody swapped and have some results ?
Any feed back will be helpful

In the next couple of weeks I'm going to have some 799 heads for sale. As soon as my new ones come and I swap them out. One has a bad valve guide, so they will need machined, but your already having them milled.

I'm sure you would gain some.. If your having them milled and gaining compression you will prolly pick up maybe 20 hp..m isn't the 862 heads weak on the intake side anyways? The 243s will prolly help her breath a lot better and I have been thinking about doin somthing similar too.. But I've just been reading so far

If your looking for .3 of a second, why not swap on a FAST LSXRT truck intake? They typically always pick up .3+ and 3MPH+ on the car versions, and the truck verison is their best one!??!?

You act like a $1000 intake is a big deal??
Tons of people have them on their engines(Camaros/Corvettes/Engine Swaps). Ive had three different ones, all worth every penny. Plus they hold their value well. I would run the truck one if it would fit, but my heater core hoses get in the way, so I have the car version.
