Yup, noticed quiet of a difference with the intake. Havent had to a chance to fully test it out since truck is still not retuned for it, and lifters decided to take a dump.

dont be down on yourself, you did a swap to the good, you have to realize you only changed intakes, what happened is youre now pulling more air in, BUT you hadnt done anything to let the air out quicker, ya see now the 243 heads would play a nice roll, dont need to port them ( do that later if you want ) but with the higher compression and better air flow will allow the air to move out quicker then to really get into the scenario of things, the cam events will now play a roll, remember what goes in must come out and come out alot quick

so whats your exhaust consist of, i think you mentioned but i didnt read all the pages

i ended up selling the intake already cause i wasnt happy losing mph and et at the track.
Wasnt happy with spending all that cash with no gains

My exhaust is LTs with ORY with a 22 inch magnaflow

I am still considering a head swap because of a broken exhaust bolt thats leaking.

dude NO offense but someone needs to slap you lol if there was any stock intake i would run it would be the newer tbdss intake, you cant make such a change and expect gains, remember weather plays a roll also.. theres alot of factors to consider

so what now, which intake you thinking of ?

you get the 243 heads and get them in the right hands of a porter you'll definitely see some great gains

lol
Honestly i feel the stock intake is better for my setup
i can get that intake if needed but wasnt impressed by it
The loss of bottomend torque was terrible !

i planned on running stock 243s with a 40thousandths mill unless i can find a ported set for really cheap
I can get stock 243 for 250 all day long

I vote install the heads...sell the low lift cam and get a cam with more lift that will take advantage of the better flowing heads....just my .02
