and youll need compression!!!! a stock 9.5 cr 5.3 wont do crap for thsi cam...youll get spanked by 5.3s with smaller cams[/QUOTE]

Plz if you do this cam understand the supporting things you need. That would be an awesome cam with the right supporting things in a 5.3l. Your a heavy truck. You will need to keep weight down when racing. 4.30 gear and a 3800-4k stall. 11:1 compression, and the ls6 manifold is helping 60' times. With those supporting things and hopefully atleast a small worked set of heads and you should be somewhat happy. Atleast you will already have a cam for a good 6.0 build.
