Does anyone have this cam in a 5.3? i was wanting to see what it sounded like in a 5.3.

thats pretty big for 5.3, some 6.0 guys might have it.

Not a great choice for a cam when used with stock compression. This cam would be best with around 11:1.

thats the torquer 2 from tsp. i ran itwith 11.1 6.0. you need compression to run this cam

Yup. Im running a 224/226 110 and its still a little big for my 5.3 w/ 10.4:1 compression

That cam in a 5.3l needs well flowing intake and exhaust, 11:1 comp, and close to 4k converter with 4.10 gears IMO to be effective.

i talked to tsp and a quy said i should go with this cam
224/224 .581/.581 112 does anyone have this idle clip of this cam in there truck

here you go man, you will also need to get comp 918 springs along with push rods if you go with the cam, but i love it!
