Default 228R and Stg 2.5 5.3 heads on the way!

It will be a weekend long affair. I think I am going to hate my truck after this cam swap, or at least Beau (FarmerBeau) think I will. Getting a Wheatley tune done on Tuesday. I have a stock converter. I need to save for a FLT 4L65e level 5 and a Vig 3600. I will keep yall updated.

Got the package in and pulled the heads off today. Pulling the cam out tomorrow. Hopefully will have it up in running tomorrow night.

I am going to hate it for awhile, but it will get better with time.

Having problems right now. No oil pressure. Feel free to chime in. https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=390570

Did you pull the Oil Pump Pickup Tube off? If so, I imagine that you have the O ring pinched. There are a lot of threads on this issue on ls1tech.com if you do a search.

Search for randomhero and 1slowz71 cam install. That thread COMPLETELY diagnosed every oil issue after a cam install.

Oil pick up tube O-ring would be my first guess.

Beau (FarmerBeau) has talked to Cody (1slowZ71) about my issues. Pan is coming off again.
