Default 2000 Silverado 5.3 EPS cam & other goodies

I have finally come to a point where I have decided to do a cam swap on my truck. Its a 2000 Silverado RCSB with the 5.3 and around 205,000 miles. I have daily driven it for 3-4 years now, since the purchase of my 2017 Ram R/T I sort of lost interest in it. Currently having a few items painted for it and its started to gain my interest again. As I have read over various cam setups for these trucks, I believe I have come up with a combo that should suit the truck well.

The list is as follows:
- EPS 214/220 .551/.551 on 112 LSA
- BTR Beehive valve springs .560 max lift
- Camshaft retainer plate with bolts
- BTR camshaft installation kit with OEM harmonic balancer bolt
- BTR valve cover gaskets
- NGK TR6 spark plugs
- AC Delco Dex-cool antifreeze
- Speed Engineering 1 3/4" stainless steel longtubes with 3" Y pipe, MLS exhaust gaskets, and new bolts.
- Speed Engineering 8.2 mm plug wires
- BTR LS7 lifters
- GM OEM MLS head gaskets
- BTR head bolt kit
- GM OEM intake manifold gaskets (Cathedral heads)
- LS2 lifter tray
- Stem vent gasket (1st style)
- Dyno Tune
- Labor

As of now the only Performance mods are:
- K&N CAI
- Corvette Servo
- Diablo Intune 89 octane tune
- Dual exhaust with high-flow cats

I would eventually like to add a 3200 stall torque converter as well but it may have to wait a bit. Is there anything else I should maybe think about doing? Hopefully someone with more knowledge can jump in. Thanks in advance for any advice! I really wished I had time to do the work but the way my work schedule is there is no way I could make it happen.

I have a high lift version of that cam in my 6 liter. Very docile, fat TQ curve. Same headers as well, very happy with them. You will definitely benefit from a converter, your stock converter in the 4L60E might flash to 1500-1600. The stock converter in my 4L80E flashes to about 2400-2500 and it's pretty close. Geoff felt a 2800-3000 would be perfect.

Do you know what the stamp is on your converter? The "K1" stamped converters are supposed to flash that high but I've heard of a few examples of them blowing past that.

No clue, the engine and transmission in my truck came out of a 2004 2500 HD.
