10:9 compression with low boost?

Default 10:9 compression with low boost?

Just got my lq9 block back from machine shop and ready to start assembling I have a set of 246 heads about to go on it for 10:9 compression I have decided I want to run boost now is it possible with this compression at small boost?

I ran a 11:1 408 with a tvs1900 with the smallest pulley available...maxed out at about 7-8psi. Was torquey as hell, very fun setup.

I will be running pump gas and another question I have a set of new GM head gaskets for it already will those work good for boost as long as I run ARP head studs

I ran pump 93 on mine. Some LS9 gaskets are the best GM factory MLS gaskets.

I think they will work but i see a lot of people going with ls9 gaskets.

just ordered some LS9 gaskets to be safe, should i stick with 10.1 with 317 heads or 243 heads I already have at 10:9 compression for low boost?

LS3s are boosted daily and they are that CR run it with a good tune up and fuel and be ok

I would do the 317s because most tuners aren't nearly as good as they think they are
