Default need help with supercharger belt slip!!! and others!

im also getting some belt slip, they had the belt on right on a pic they sent. i picked it up today and it drove fine then a fuel like popped off. after i figured that out i got it home and thats when the belt slip started. i got home and noticed they had the belt over the charger and then the alt, and not over the charger and straight down under the idle pulley then back up to the alt. but still it slips and it goes from boost to vacuum or low boost.

also he said 6psi but when i punched it, it got to like 17psi like they hooked it up wrong.....also seem to be having some electrical issues. i dont know if that fuel line will pop off again, it was kind of loose.

so i dont know if this is a reason for it only pushing 446rwhp.

any help will be awesome!

That seems like a lot of issues! I would take it right back to the shop that did the install.... Had the belt on wrong?!! You need to take it back emmediately if you're already having that many issues and you didn't even make it home! What shop did the install? Was it a brand new unit that you had installed?

I agree with Jordan, But my question is what supercharger are you running and a fuel line shouldn't just pop off, I am confused how that could even happen.

You should post pictures of the setup, words are kinda worthless without some pictures.

ill get pics once i get it back, they are going over it

found out my gauge was bad, put a manual on it and it was 8lbs.

they replaced the fuel line and put pulleys on, waiting on a gates hd belt replacement

Still cant figure out why it was only 446 rwhp, i think the pulley is rated for 9-9.5. just kind of dissapointed.

There's a lot of important info left out that keeps us from judging how your HP shapes up.

So if anyone is in the Houston area please avoid Serioushp in the area, they do sketchy work and offer no customer service.

1. they had my pump in backwards so it was creating hell of heat in my intake air
2. they wired my gauges up to my driver side mirror and it kept auto dimming.

now that everything is worked out by a professional shop its up around the 500 range. still working a few things on the tune but other wise its 10x the truck it was.

and a gates belt helped out

what's your setup? Engine, supercharger, pulley size, belt tensioner, belt length, etc.

The more information you can provide, the more help we can give.
