looking at a really low mileage lq4 out of a smashed full size van to put in my 02 ECSB 4.8. is the reluctor wheel going to be different? i have read the they changed in the 07 up, or was this stuff kept the same for the full size vans? also the knock sensors have to moved? anything else im missing?

 

if its an lq4 or lq9 it should be the same as your 4.8 just swap it an tune it, if the 6.0 its from a nnbs then it is l76 or ly6 and those have different reluctor wheel and knock sensors

 

its listed as an lq4, it should be. the 08 up full size vans got the LY6 from what i have found. i wasn't sure on the reluctor wheel and knock sensor stuff though, thanks.

 

If it is a LQ4, It should have the old (24x) tone wheel. they stopped using the LQ4 in 2007.

LQ4 was in the silverado 2500 all the way to 07 classic body style....

like mentioned aslong as its a LQ4 it will work, just look at the heads and make sure they are 317's
