Default 02 5.3 flywheel on 03 6.0 Lq4?

Can I use my 2002 Tahoe 5.3 flywheel on my 2003 LQ4 engine on the swap? Is it the correct one or will i have to drill new holes? Any Spacer issues? How About vibration problems.

on that late of a model you shouldn't have any issues. on the first year or two of 6.0's there was a longer crank or spacer used. The gen 3 engines are all internally balanced so you should be able to use the 5.3 flexplate on the 6.0.

pretty much everything else on these engines fit and are interchangeable so the flywheel should be the same way.

It will be fine. The only way you would run into spacing or hole alignment problems is if you were swapping to a 4L80E also.
