Talking [B]i be strokin!!!!![/B]

about to start building my stroked 5.3!!!! i am stroking it to a 393 so i am excited!!! is there any suggestions as to what all else i need to do while i'm at it or what to do once i'm done? will keep everyone updated and will let ya'll know how its going. thanks in advance for all the input.

395 is 3.905" x 4.125"
383 is 3.905" x 4.0"

For the love of god stay away from the 4.100" stroke crank. I had a months worth of machining issues due to the extra .1" sstroke just get a 383 there is a reason why you only see 383s and not 393s. Search under my user name for my 418 build and you will see all the "modding" that had to be done to get it to work I dont feel like typing it all out.

SOUNDS LIKE ITS GONNA BE A NICE MOTOR. i THINK I MAY NEED A 402 IN MY YUKON ONCE THE WARRANTY IS UP. I WONDER HOW MUCH MY MPG WILL DROP. LOL
