I used the B 12 chemtool to clean the top of my pistons when i took my engine apart. Put on the pistons waited 10 minutes and the carbon wiped right off. Everything else i tried carb cleaner, wd40, seafoam and others nothing worked like the B12.

20k miles I’m at the delership right now for my last free oil change. They recommended a throttle body cleaning service for 140 bucks. She said they use BG something.....

Looks like it goes in the gas tank

Any cleaner that goes in the gas tank does not work for DI

The entire reason DI has a cleaning issue is because the injectors are sprayed directly into the combustion chamber, thus the fuel is not sprayed into the head and valves anymore, which acts as sort of a self clean.

B12 also comes in aerosol cans. I've used it to clean up the pistons when I pulled heads. It worked better than any other cleaner I had on hand. If it's not available in aerosol, I'd put it through a pump sprayer just the same as the BG video did.
