Default Well no more truck fun for me.

Temporarily anyways. Was driving down the interstate last night and truck started violently shaking. Check engine light started flashing and a message popped up that said "reduced engine performance" and I pulled over and shut it down. Tried to start back up and it wouldn't. I scanned it with my quick scan and got 3 injector fault codes, 2 bank one too rich codes and something about timing performance out of range. Any ideas? Probably won't hear from the dealership until later. Either way I'm screwed. I just talked to the service manager and he said injectors, pumps or anything like that are not covered under warranty. I'm at 43k and not exactly happy about this. I bought a new truck to have something reliable for work. If I wanted to keep working on stuff I would have kept my duramax.

Is it modified in any way, or is it completely stock? I would raise some hell if it was completely stock and those parts aren't covered under warranty on a year old truck.

100% stock. Other than a level kit. But that's irrelevant.

And I've been thinking about canceling my bumper to bumper warranty. Makes you wonder if the < 14 trucks may be safer because of the potential cost of repairs

Injector harness rubbed through and caused a short took out #3 injector a melted the harness. 3.5 hours of diag, a new injector, new harness and labor will be $980. I told them I will replace it myself but after some research there pressed into the head and have a special tool to pull them. Extremely pissed.
