Went to my local dealer to look into ordering me a 2016/17 RCSB 5.3L. They told me in December they will be offering the A8 in the RCSB 5.3Ls. Anyone else hear about that?

 

yeah RCSB not available in 8 speed yet that and some 3.73's would be freaky quick with some good rubber.

45k for a reg cab with cloth interior, outdated 6 speed trans, and no 6.2.

Cars these days are too expensive, out of touch with the incomes of your average buyer. Just look at how poorly the Camaro is selling...

 

6.2 in a RCSB would be **** and *** for sure!

Sweet! I been waiting to order a new GMC single cab, been waiting for news on the 8 speed being an option for them.

 

Even though its not a Chevy I can tell you the RCSB Ram's with 5.7 and the 8spds are fast, no need for steep gears either, this will be a good thing! the 6.2/8spd/RC would be a better thing!

 

I really have no idea why you guys think you want the 8 speed. It's a disaster..... GM needs to really fix this junk before they start adding it to more platforms. If it shifts correctly and all is well it is a fun trans and I would love to have it even in my old 05. As they are though..... well....... The ZF in the Dodge's is a better transmission by far.

But we are on the verge now of the 10 speed so look out.... lol.

 

Yep the Rams with 8spds have been killing it at the track. They've hit 12.50s with just a CAI and tune and drag pack ones with the 3.92 gearing
